Please people, if you must do it, use your own karabiner on the lower offs, as per the guidebook.The lower offs are getting worn. Yes it means the last person has to commit to getting to the top ... or losing a few quid. So be it.
Well said. There's no excuses for it. Just got back from 2 weeks there where my other half had to do rather a lot of top roping as she's pregnant.
Never once had to top rope off the lower offs, was always happy to reclimb a route to retrieve gear if she didn't make it to the top (which she always did as she's a bloody superstar!).
