I was working with a group this weekend and spotted a south facing quarry on the south sid sod the mound and Horsburgh castle, just opposite the entrance to Glentress car park, near Peebles,

Never checked it out, has anyone else checked it ?

Looks like it is used as an archery range, maybe by the Cardrona Hotel?

I took one of those - never even gave being a climbing venue a thought.  See also the bikers car park by the Leithen Water

I am currently in the Raeburn Hut and looking through the SMC Journal 2021 I noticed that Graham Little recorded 4 routes there in June 2020. I would have passed him on the bike path by the dates given.
