As the seasons change, what options for sport crags are there in the Peak? Mid 6’s to mid 7’s.

Horseshoe main wall catches the sun and can be quite pleasant mid winter when the icy winds blow over the top. Stoney west and Garage buttress are also an option and don't suffer too much with seepage. Parts of Rubicon are a sun trap when not underwater.

It's often hard to keep your fingers warm at this time of year.

Not a big fan of sport but I was belaying my wife this week on a cold day. Getting a cold but sunny day in Horseshoe quarry wasn't so bad due to the sheltered aspect, even I was able to stay warm despite being a belayer.
