Major rockfall - Exmoor (Claw Area)

Soloed this part of the Exmoor Girdle Traverse this afternoon and there has been an enormous landslide about 100yds right of The Claw (I'd guess about 300ft-400ft high and about the same wide). There is quite a bit of rubble still coming down. It doesn't really affect the Traverse, but you'll need to keep close to the sea on this section to be safe.

It is possible that it may have taken out part of Hannigton's path, so removing the escape route between The Claw and Highveer.

The gully left is an impressive feature - much steeper than any of the others in the area (near vertical) and may provide an interesting, if suicidal route in about a decade.
