This is a message to announce that the Leeds Uni Mountaineering and Climbing magazine, The Journal, has returned after a hiatus of 30 years! A group of students brought the project back to life last year after digging up old copies of the magazine in depths of the University's library.
This Winter/Autumn edition covers pieces written by current and ex-members of the club, documenting their climbing adventures and time at Leeds. It also features an interview with NorthFace climbers James Pearson and Caroline Ciavaldini which touches upon the philosophy behind climbing. Alongside this, to celebrate we have also created a series of limited-edition screen printed posters.
