I'm looking to join a mountaineering club in the Lake District, Ideally with a reasonable number of people in their 20s/30s and a decent calendar of weekend hut meets.
I've met a number of members of the K Fellfarers and they seem to be a thoroughly decent bunch with a good mix of ages. Kendal based, 130 members. Fantastic and characterful hut at Seathwaite Borrowdale (High House), which members get free access to. Regular program of events and trips. Worth getting in touch with them I reckon.
