Inspiring stuff - https://www.cornwalllive.com/news/cornwall-news/penzance-man-finds-sobriety...

I loved this quote: "Georgie suffers with multiple health issues including a mood disorder, endometriosis, a heart condition, and more. Speaking about her time at Chalk, she said: "When you are climbing, you don't think about anything else. If I wake up in a depressed mood, and I come here, it changes my mood for the whole weekend. I haven't had a mental health episode since starting this. It's changed my life. It's given me a purpose. I've done therapy. I've been on medicine. And this is the only thing that's ever helped me."

In reply to Chris_Mellor:

An instructor I know does a fair bit of work with addiction (https://www.mountain-addiction.co.uk/)  and alongside this I feel Urban Uprising (https://www.urbanuprising.org/) are using climbing as therapy for traumatised teenagers quite successfully.
