I'm staying in Sheffield for a few days. Is anywhere likely to be dry? Thanks.

Saturday may yield some dryness but it’ll be selective rather than widespread, I’d have thought.

I'd say Wharncliffe looks to have a good chance of being OK. Low lying and quick drying.

It's not mega wet out there currently. Exposed crags like Stanage and curbar will probably be dry on saturday. Big rain saturday night everywhere though so Sunday might be a no go.

well spotted

Wharncliffe was in great condition today until just after 4pm,  when it got a tad moist!

Glad someone listened and had a good day. Doing all that editorial work over mamy varied forecasts does has some advantages

We climbed happily at Pleasley Vale all day today as well.

Another good low south facing winter venue but the ground can stay damp so Wharncliffe is more reliable.
