My camera can record 96 frames a second but it can not record sound at the same time.

How would I go about capturing and then syncing sound to the video?

I have an external sound recorder, but I have never tried this scenario before.

You want to keep the sound from whatever it is you are filming and slow that down too?

You would need to improvise something akin to a clapperboard i.e. some kind of simultaneous audio/visual que to sync to. You could even use Audacity (free sound software) to stretch the audio without the usual corresponding drop in pitch.
