I just bought a 64gb card for the Panasonic dmcfx150 that I bought on eBay, it shows "memory card parameter error" when I load it. It works perfectly in my daughter's FZ245 and the card   from this camera works in mine. Anyone got any advice how I get the new one to work in my fx150.

Use the camera to format it ?

I think 32gb might be the limit for that camera

Bit puzzled how as it locks up with parameter error message

Might be related to the file system of the SD card (given that one works and the other not).

Buy a new camera that will work with the card.

You have a golden excuse to buy a new bit of kit.

Are you sure the old card wasn’t formatted as FAT32? Ie the camera only saw it as a 32gb card

the new card will be formatted as exFAT which the camera might not understand

He seems to be ignoring any post with the word format in it

Correct, matter now resolved with a 32g card. Thank you for the input.
