Anybody used a Camera Slider and which would you recommend?

I've been thinking about a slider for a few years to help with Time Lapses but I don't know what to look for and I've never really seen one in the flesh.

A short one. I have both a long and short slider and the long one hasn't been out of its bag for 10 years.

Motorised is essential for time lapse, as you will probably know.

My sliders are made by Konova. They are at the lower cost end of sliders but work perfectly well. Keep the rails spotlessly clean.

I’ve got a Neewer motorised slider with Bluetooth app to control it. 80cm. £300 on Amazon.
I’ve enjoyed using it and it really appreciate being able to program/control it from my phone. 
The case for using a slider to add movement and interest to timelapses is pretty strong. Here are some of mine. Not spectacular but give an idea.

Those Time Lapse have sold me on the idea. 100%. 😇

Think I will look into a short Slider first.
