I've just been suddenly inspired to learn a bit of Gaelic with duolingo, having spent over a decade murdering the names of most Highland mountains. Are there are Gaelic speakers here? Any advice or observations on the language?
I speak French to a passable standard and have been sporadically learning Spanish with duolingo too, so I'm not entirely new to new languages. Allegedly I speak English too - but those not born within sight of the Tyne may be inclined to disagree.
