DIY Contact Tracing

Stealing an idea from Jacinda, we're keeping a diary of where we've been and who we've been around each day.

Whilst it's clearly far from perfect, and might not suit some people at all, it seems like a reasonable way to know who you should alert if you develop symptoms.

In the absence of the UK government doing any contact tracing and with whatever concerns people may have about the app, I just wondered if anyone else was doing this?

In reply to AdrianC:

I haven't been around many people daily, to be honest, other than people I have no details for e.g. in a shop.  However if you are this seems a very good, considerate idea.  Perhaps worth noting which shops etc as this may help the Government tracers.

I haven't, but if people wanted to know where and at what time I would think the banks are the people who would have the information as all the shops I go in are only doing contactless and not cash.

In reply to marsbar:

I just keep receipts...
