Hi 

I am hoping to get a smartwatch compatible with Komoot, so I can use my watch to navigate tours I have planned on Komoot. That's the only purpose I will be using it for. I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations? Ideally something with a not tiny screen so it's nice and easy to see.

It looks like some Garmins will link to Komoot, my Fenix will apparently so thanks for the enquiry and making me look online.

I think a phone would be better for you though, I use Komoot on my phone. That way you get spoken directions like a satnav.

I would also recommend something bigger than a watch screen for reading a map. When navigating, you often need to see the wider context of where you are.

The thing I would actually recommend is a map, but I realise that you are looking for something to help automate your navigation. Sorry, I don't have much experience in using devices for navigation.
