At Easter we intend doing some walking in Tuscany, and have got the Cicerone Guide for the area and the maps. We would like to do a multi day linear walk which is something we have never done before, having previously done walks and returned to a base. We are not softies, so we if we had to sleep under a tree, we would cope, but in a bed is plan A, and so to the point of this OP.
Has anyone done the Il Sentiero Del Chianti, could you please give any guidance as to where you stopped. 15/16 miles a day is comfortable for us, but if it is 20 ¯_(ツ)_/¯

In reply to Godwin:

Logistics is one of the most fun parts of any linear walk. For this one I’d suggest the following relaxed style:

Put your hand a little deeper in your pocket and tempt a couple of young relatives (or whatever) with a free holiday and a tent in return for driving you to your departure point in the morning and picking you up in the evening to transport you to your resting place.

Make an itinerary that allows you to soak up Tuscany. Take roughly three months.

Beware of thunderstorms.
