The proposal for the telecoms mast adjacent to the bottom of the Devil's Staircase has been withdrawn (Highland Council planning application number- 23/03215/FUL). It was a thread on UKC last month. Apart from objection on landscape grounds, it was a terrible application lacking a lot of basic info needed for the council to make a decision.
When an application is withdrawn, it is often because the applicant wants to rejig it (e.g. alter the siting/structure etc) so as to make it more likely to be approved. I suspect this one will come back somewhat altered in the near future- be warned. It will be as a fresh application with a different reference number.
