Well this pandemic madness seems to be finally offering some hope of becoming a thing of the past, and with lockdown restrictions easing slightly (in Ireland), I took the opportunity of going on my first long hike in many months at the end of April. A new route for me, and one I think offers potentially one of the best long distance hiking adventures in the country. Five days of wonderful solitude and ever increasing wildness. Doesn't get much better me thinks.... https://howlingmist.blogspot.com/2021/05/millstreet-to-castletownbere-hike-...

I hope you enjoy...and maybe when more normal times return you might give it a try yourselves
