Guys,

I'm looking for my first rock climbing rope (I already own a DMM 30m 9.1mm that I used for scrambling) and I found this one at a convenient price:
https://www.salewa.com/red-9-6mm-rope-00-0000000447

I haven't found any reviews online. Does anyone have any feedback on it or Salewa ropes in general?

Thank you!

Sebastian

Morning,

That's a pricey rope. 180euros for 60m is defo getting towards top end of the market. I've no idea how the rope is but the brand is decent. As a first (of many) rope I'd just get something a bit cheaper myself. Rock and run usually have loads of offers on ropes. I find the edelrid ones decent for the money. My last one was a python and was £109 for 70m. 9.6mm I think.

A colleague has just bought a Sterling 10mm for £70 but I can't find a link.

Here's a 60m one at £80
