I am looking at trying to arrange for my daughter to sleep on a Porta ledge this summer. 

This is for a couple of reasons, one is just uniqueness but the others are based around a challenge and also as something out of the ordinary for her scout camping award. 

Anyone know where I could hire one from. 

There is a company that offers  a managed experience, but that was way too expensive. 

Any ideas welcome.

Possibly easier to buy one (secondhand?), use it & then sell it on. Unlikely to lose as much as any hire charges......? 

Maybe mention very roughly what part of the country are you in
