Has anyone used these? Are they worth the extra cost i.e. do they last twice as long? Are they a PITA to sharpen if they need it? Are there any other similar options out there? Looking at them for G20+ crampons and predominantly snowed up rock routes.

Cheers.

All hardened ones are a lot more PITA to sharpen. Especially If compared to the soft Grivel original ones.

as for the price, seem quite spendy. I’d look If Kuznia already has models for G20+. Or Krukonogi armorsteel version. The latter is Most likely harder, thus more robust, than the Grivel Katana or Kuznia. But close to price of Grivels. Kuznias tend to be cheap.

Not sure everyone's going to be thrilled by the apparent ability to kick steps in rock now, as their video suggests...

Some might call that chipping…

and even if still a lot of mixed/drytooling are chipped/manufactured, there has been a push for natural lines…

Hey, when you're desperate...
