Heading off to Pyrenees next week. Will go for Pic Longue if Vignemale, from Bayssellance, via the glacier.

Is there a ‘normal’ or ‘standard’ route up from the glacier on to the south ridge? Or just find the best line kind of thing?

Also, any recent info that would be helpful (condition of glacier, any increased rockfall etc).
