So went up to the hut last week with this in mind but the weather wasn't having any of it . Looks like there could be a period of good weather early next week but am without a partner. So is there anyone who has experience in longish alpine rock out there who wants to hook up ? Please get in touch cheers !

I´d love to, but don´t have time. Stick to the boulder fields on the way down and stay off the apparently easy snow slope; on the day I was there one of three students from Hamburg with whom I´d sat at the breakfast table died, he broke through and got stuck between the snow and the slab beneath it. Be careful.

The hut advice was stay off the snow that runs over a stream at the foot. Hadn't realised the whole slab was an issue.

i will be in that area in 2 weeks time if that's any help..
