BMC has just been informed, at very late notice, that due to issues around a major military excercise taking place at the Castlemartin Ranges in Pembrokeshire, there will be no public access to the MoD estate at Castlemartin, between and including St Govans and Stack Rocks this weekend - October 1st to the 3rd.

Therefore very unusually, no climbing is allowed and all public access is prohibited to all of the cliffs on Range East or Range West this weekend and throughout next week, as the MoD has already posted a closure notice for the remainder of the week.  We assume that Range East will reopen on Friday evening. October 8th.

This is in addition to the current noted closure of Range West until mid-October due to the same large scale military excercise.
