Hi to all.

Just to remind climbers of the seasonal restrictions with regard to nesting birds.

Blue Scar: peregrine. Mid Feb. to possibly mid/end July. There are no signs at this site.

High Stony: There is a pair of nesting Ravens at present, so the seasonal restrictions will run to the end of May.

Langcliffe: Peregrine.  1st of March to the end of July.

Malham: Peregrine.  March to the end of July. Signs will be in place with restrictions for the left wing which appears to be the preferred nesting site, but please be aware of changes. Malham has always been a sensitive spot with so many visitors let alone climbers. Please read any signs which will show the restricted area.

Although there is no climbing in Giggleswick quarry, there are Raven and Peregrine. The Peregrine are believed to be from Langcliffe, if this is the case the ban could be lifted early there.

Rangers will be putting up signs, if they haven't already, and all sites will be continually monitored.

Thanks to all
