Today, Monday June 1st, new and amended regulations come into force in Wales, backed up by quite a bit of guidance from Welsh Government.  The new key headline message in Wales is "Stay Local", with the guidance suggesting that travel allowed, up to a "rule of thumb" distance of 5 miles from the place you are living is now permitted.  The various guidance, regulations and various press and government Ministerial statements are complex and confusing, so we've published an article to try to get the pertinent facts and information to climbers and hill-walkers in a simpler form....

Thanks for the information.

Living in the Black Mountains, it's really annoying that we are told outside exercise is ok, but all of the open access land is closed. I hope BBNP see sense on this and open it up. Thanks for raising it with them.
