A further site visit to Falcon Crag (Borrowdale) has now confirmed that the Peregrines are nesting on Upper Falcon so the lower crag is now unrestricted.
A party on Zigzag on Castle Rock North Crag (Thirlmere) reported nesting Kestrels on the large ledge to the right of the final belay (shared with Mayday Cracks); inconveniently this ledge forms the second belay of most routes right of Mayday Cracks. While it is probably possible to climb Overhanging Bastion without disturbing the birds it is probably a good idea to give the whole of the N Crag a wide berth until 1 July. At the moment this is a request rather than a formal restriction.
