Come to our next gathering of Peak District climbers and walkers, and get involved in the BMC.

Venue: Bamford Village Institute

Area meetings are run by volunteers and provide an opportunity for you to discuss issues and influence decisions affecting climbers and walkers locally and nationally. All are welcome.

Yep, potato chips will be provided to complement Steve's and Kritian's less edible chips

Also, as well as all the usual updates and discussion, we have Percy Bishton - Olympic route-setter and general funny guy - regaling us with tales from last year as the post-meeting entertainment. I probably haven't done a very good job of selling this but I've been told he has a collection of very entertaining and funny annecdotes from the Olympics, so well worth coming down for.

Don't forget to bring your own drinks!

I would love to attend but due to Ill health issues, a stroke and a major epileptic fit, brought on by covid, I have had to relinquish my driving licence and can’t sadly
