Has anyone on here cycled the length of Spain from north to south?
I'm planning a route from Ventoux area, through the Haut Languedoc to Carcassonne, through the eastern Pyrenees then down to the Alicante area.
I want to avoid the Mediterranean coast and the big cities like Barcelona and Valencia. I know it's hilly and mountainous inland - I don't mind that but I don't want to climbing day after day.
This would be in October so any advice would be great.
