Hello all

I recently replaced a spoke on my road bike rear wheel ( ITM Aero 2.4 )

I noticed afterwards that I laced it incorrectly and it is not touching the crossing spoke (I went behind instead of in front). The wheel true'd ok and no issues on a short ride.

Question: is this ok or should I re-do

Cheers

I'm sure it's absolutely fine structurally, but if it niggles you, then change it quickly before the nipple seizes.

It would probably bug me from a cosmetic view.

It’s definitely not ok.  The crossing help spread loads through the whole wheel.  I’d definitely recommend replacing it.

This would keep me awake at night, I'd sort it out

Are the spokes now bent? that is; does the new spoke, or the ones it's crossing, deflect - or are all spokes still in a die-straight line between rim and hub?

I would have thought that you wouldn't be able to lace the wrong side without causing some deflection: in which case - change it!
