I was just pondering a wandering... if I were to walk up Meall Chuaich it’d make sense to cycle in from the A9, just north of Dalwhinnie. But then I got thinking that the NE ridge might be a lovely descent, if I can be bothered to push the bike up to the top, followed by a descent of Glen Tromie and then return to the car by A9 cycle path, bus or train.
Of course, it might just be horrendous bog and heather, so I thought I’d ask if anyone knows. I know that Glen Tromie is a lovely gentle cycle and if I were to return by bus or train I’d be better off starting at the end of the track and aqueduct just south of Dalwhinnie.
