I'm planning a bikepacking trip to the Lakes next weekend with two friends. I've been climbing and walking in the lakes several times, but this will be my first time with the bike. As such, I'm looking for recommendations for nice 2 day rides suitable for our group of 2 hardtails and 1 gravel bike. It'll be the first time with panniers for a few of us, so nothing too techy! Ideally we'd like to wild camp somewhere up in the hills too.
Any UKC'ers have any good recommendations for this kind of thing in the Lakes? More general tips like "avoid X place at all costs" or recommendations for good guidebooks also welcome!
