I’m dong this on Sunday.. is it worth keeping an eye out for the monster?

In reply to JimR:

I never saw it....

Take care over the first bit, early damp roads, painted lines and some folk getting a bit carried away.

It's bloody marvellous though....

In reply to MarkAstley:

Have done it a  couple of times and its a great outing. I've also seen some horrible accidents with folks thinking they are doing the TdF and cycling way too close and too fast........

In reply to JimR:

Unless they have done repairs since we did it a couple of years back, the A82 not far out of Inverness on the downhill towards the loch had some pretty deep channels down the middle of the road. Could definitely catch you unaware if not expecting it.

In reply to Professor Bunsen:

That section was repaired last year along with the nasty stretch from Temple Pier into Drumnadrochit. In fact, most of the roads on North side of the Loch are in pretty good condition at the moment.

It's too early in the morning for Nessie but give the lifeboat crew a wee wave if you see them. We'll be down at the station on standby in case there's a shout. The closed roads mean we need to have folk there from 6am 'just in case'.
