Originally from the South of England, UK.

Ex-forces (RAF).

British Ex-Pat. Lived in Canada on the West Coast near Squamish. Similar temperature to the UK, not as cold as the rest of Canada, but far better, and longer hot summer days.

Now living on the East coast of Canada and missing the mountains of BC but other than that it's all good weather here just a bit too humid in summer, and cold in winter, but more consistent than the U.K.

Not my personal webpage below but my guide for my trad lead course at Squamish.

About My Photography
I've a Nikon coolshot, 10 mega pix as it is a good size for climbing/ skiing etc and not too big. Many locally tend to like my camera and tell me they want to buy the same one. Though there are better ones, such as SLR professional cameras.

Anything Else We Should Know
New for 2016: in December I'm being introduced to ice climbing. I met Fred Beckey in Washington via a friend that climbed with him over there, and got his autograph (not sure I still have it around though).

I completed my intense one day trad lead course at Squamish by a recognised guide 'Colin Moorhead' who is also known for first ascents at Squamish, such as 'Brothers in arms' on the Chief 5.12C in 2003 as Squamish Select guide book shows. He teaches aid, trad, sport, and alpine. He taught me a one day lead course (intense) instead of 2 days after seeing me climb with his friend a Physics Professor at UBC that recommended him to me, a 5.10c 'popeye and the raven' stemming climb on top rope.
He assessed my nut placements as 'bomber'
