Not really climbing at the moment - I have numb hands which is a bit of a problem! Grip strength is an issue and Tony's not too keen on having me belay him - can't for the life of me imagine why!
As a rule, I prefer climbing and mountaineering in winter and get a perverse pleasure from hot aches and being cold - I'm just odd, I guess! I don't think sea cliffs are my 'thing' as I prefer long 'slabby' routes, but as my closest 'crag' is Swanage, I'll just have to get used to it.

Climbing partner to Tony ('Howard1'). We have a dreadful knack of buying similar gear, so we end up looking the same - hence the names (you'd need to be of a certain age to understand!)

Work always seems to get in the way of climbing which is gernally squeezed into whatever time I can get off.

Generally I fill my days checking out weather reports and webcams and planning my next trip, but only end up proper climbing i.e. 'outside' about once a month.

Like most girls - I have a penchant for extravagant footwear; Spantiks, Evo S, Nepal Extremes, Salamon SM Lites, Meindl Borneo's, and a couple of pairs of Merrel trainsers.........

About My Photography
I'm rubbish at it. I just point and shoot. Very rarely I might take a picture that's remotely passable.

Anything Else We Should Know
I cannot cook. My kids have been brought up to think that carbon is an essential ingredient in all cooked foods.

I was part of an all female expedition to Greenland in May 2007.
