Now middle-aged, had kids etc and looking to get back into some climbing. Bristol lad, started climbing aged 16 in Venture Scouts and course at Plas-Y-Brenin in 1980. Attended Bangor University 1981 - 1984 and climbed North Wales (a lot). Couple of Alpine seasons back then, climbing Chamonix classics, plus some North Wales winter. Dropped all that though and stuck to rock climbing.
Worked overseas, have climbed in Oman, South Africa, Namibia and on visits to Canada, US, Australia. In my prime (ie 25 years ago!) I was leading around E3 5c. Favourite climbing SW England and especially Cornwall granite or Baggy Point.
