Full-Time Coaching Manager – Chimera Climbing
Are you a qualified climbing coach with a passion for fostering talent and nurturing a diverse, inclusive climbing community? If so, we've got the perfect opportunity for you. Chimera Climbing is on the hunt for a dynamic, experienced full-time Coaching Manager to oversee all aspects of instruction across our organisation.
Full-time 40 hours per week.
You'll spend time in both our Tunbridge Wells and Canterbury centres, with fuel expenses covered. Plus, enjoy one day of remote work, focusing on administrative tasks.
As a key member of our team, you'll work alongside our Centre Managers, reporting to the Directors. You'll be an integral part of ensuring Chimera Climbing upholds its commitment to providing the best quality tuition for our customers.
Develop Instructors, Create Lesson Plans, and Maintain Quality Standards
Your primary duties will include:
- Health & Safety management
- Instructor Training & Development
- Quality Assurance
- Personal Instruction / Coaching
- AALA & PPE management
- HR duties
- Safeguarding Officer role
- Instructor Disciplining
We're looking for candidates with:
- Senior management experience
- Climbing coaching experience
- Development Coach Award
- RCI, CWI, ML Awards
- Excellent communication skills
- Customer service experience
- Basic IT skills, numeracy, and literacy
- A sociable and amenable attitude
You'll receive a £27,500 salary and have access to free climbing at both centres, staff discounts at our café, and reciprocal free climbing at major walls in the South East.
