Access Banned
A major rock fall has occured - access to the lower tier, beyond Dawes of Perception slab is very restricted and has been fenced off to protect the public.
There is currently no access to the quarry and climbers should avoid it for the time being.
The quarry is within the Padarn Country Park, managed by Gwynedd Council.
Rockfax Description
The vague line of scoops that appears to be a 'weakness' in the slab about 3m to the left of Comes the Dervish. Climb up to a poor wire at 10m then continue up past where it at least feels safe to do so, to another good wire placement. Head up to the overlap and follow easy ground up and right to gain the Comes the Dervish belay. © Rockfax
