A major rock fall has occured - access to the lower tier, beyond Dawes of Perception slab is very restricted and has been fenced off to protect the public.
There is currently no access to the quarry and climbers should avoid it for the time being.
The quarry is within the Padarn Country Park, managed by Gwynedd Council.
Rockfax Description
Another classic line. Start up the parallel diagonal cracks near the arete and head up and right to a ledge. Some moves over a widening crack lead to another ledge on the arete. Follow the crack, leading up and left to the overlap. Move over this via the left-hand groove, and follow the line of weakness up a vague crack to a bolt belay. © Rockfax

βeta: Steady on lead. The crux took me a while mainly because I’d only packed my little balls. Well protected throughout. First E2 but felt more like E1 | βeta? | |
