Access Banned
A major rock fall has occured - access to the lower tier, beyond Dawes of Perception slab is very restricted and has been fenced off to protect the public.
There is currently no access to the quarry and climbers should avoid it for the time being.
The quarry is within the Padarn Country Park, managed by Gwynedd Council.
Rockfax Description
Follow Comes the Dervish to a good jug above its dogleg crux. The safety minded will climb up and place a high side runner in the overlap and return to this point. Step out and right into Flashdance and head slightly down and further right to a good ledge below a downward-facing tooth in the overlap. Make a desperate few moves up to gain the overlap at the point of the tooth. Move slightly right and make an airy step over the lip. It is hard and loose to climb direct - most people step right and place gear in Last Tango, then climb just left of this until they can regain the diagonal crack on the left that leads to the Comes the Dervish belay. © Rockfax
