Rockfax Description
40m. A strenuous but delicate crux in an exposed position. It follows the groove and diagonal crack breaking through the band of overhangs right of a mossy recess. Start at the upper terrace above the short rock step at a vertical tongue of heather. Climb easy rock and flakes on the right, before moving left past a thread into the main crack-line. Follow this to below the roof, then move up left to a big flat hold. Ignore the rusty peg up and left and, using a flake, swing right into a groove above the roof. Steep moves bring good laybacks, which lead to an easier finishing crack.
