From Villa Winter follow the farm wall south until it returns. Facing southeast the route follows the leftmost river on the right hand side of Pico de la Palma. Scramble over loose terrain to reach the base of the climb. The rock is loose and the gear poor so this is alpine in style. Although the climbing is not very technical and rock shoes are not necessary, there is exposure with a slip being fatal on the steeper sections. Once atop the ridge line, follow it northeast over easy terrain to reach the summit of Pico de la Zarza. ~2hrs
