Approach equally good from Ecrins hut or Glacier Blanc. From Ecrins hut, descend the Glacier Blanc until a path marked with white dots leaves on the left (this is a well marked route between the GB and Ecrins hut that avoids the GB crevassed section) Where the white dots start travsersing right, a good path continues up, crossing several snow patches, and then less distinctly exiting the corrie on the right via steeper snow, and some scrambling on good quality granite. This leads to the summit ridge, and the top, which is a good view point.
