3607m. Climb initial face to where traditional north face goes up and left. Trend up and right and ascend the steep couloir to the Col Superior. May now be quite serious in summer in couloir. I did it in early August 1972 with Richard Crewe and Ken Winkworth. May have been 1st British ascent.
