One of the several peaks of the Wägital and one of the higher and remoter ones by the standards of the valley. The normal route is an enjoyable and sustained grade 1/2 scramble (SAC T4) up a low angle chimney on the south face, a contender for the nicest route in the area.
The col "Durchgang" pt.1781m gives access to the route and can be reached from the south (Klöntalersee) side after reaching Ochsenfeld (pt.1535m) or from the north (Wägitalersee) side, which is probably nicer. Three different path variations from near the southern end of the Wägitalersee, where several small parking bays exist, allow to reach pt.1905m, 0.5km north of Durchgang. Descend to the col on terraces on the west side of the basin (some red-white markings, not on maps).
