βeta: A big hold came off near the top so watch that space when you climb. Don't think this has affected the difficulty of the climb.

βeta: Suspect flake 1.5m from the top on the righthand wall is crumbling away rather than falling off. Seems to be made from rotten MDF, possibly ok as a handhold but not ok for pro.

βeta: Very flexy flake 1m from top. I snapped off one part. The other part is about to go. Take care.

βeta: Felt more sustained than the other partner - Chiming Crack. Plenty of gear for the second to stop by and try to take out :) maybe a bit harder than 4a....definitely the harder part of the two jamming cracks.

βeta: In the 1978 guide this got VS 4b, which is maybe overstating it but it's closer than HS 4a! Like others have said, it's considerably harder than Chiming Crack.

βeta: Felt harder than 4a. Although can be stitched up with good gear all the way up. Sustained but technically easy with good gear.

βeta: Quite pushy for the grade. Surely 4b?
