West Wall, Tom Walkington 1988. Eskdale hero Paddy Deady 2001. Sundays Child Jim Arnold 2004.
These 3 routes are all the same! It sounds like paddy might of climbed slightly right to the two other ascents. Read West wall description in langdale guide, the peg had a long sling on it and was clipped with difficulty from the left. The peg is what has made Jim and Paddy think west wall is further left, as I did initially. Bilbos topo is very misleading too.
The best description and most acurate grade of the route is Jims E5 6a **
