Very vegetated, often loose, and grassy but with stunning views. Best done on a clearer day as it has some exposed moves.

Begin at Ogwen Cottage and follow the unnamed road past the youth hostel (alternatively start at National Trust car park and follow the unnamed road towards Foel Goch). At a small bridge leave the road on hard to see path across marshy ground. Aim for the base of Foel Goch. Ascend aiming for a collection of dry stone walls above a small crag. A large amount of scree emerges from a gully on the left hand side above. This is the start of the scramble.
