Rockfax Description
7a+ S1. Approach by boat, or from below The Conger, enter the cave by ducking under a low roof and traversing wet rock to a ledge at the back of the cave. From the ledge, move up and left across a slab onto an arete (spotter needed). Climb the arete to the top of the cave and a good rest. Move down and out to The Conger chimney via complex moves. Finish as for The Conger. © Rockfax
UKC Logbook Description
Safer start. 6a. It is possible (though maybe only in good conditions) to start further right around the arete, and pull up into a chimney, from where a long stride left over the luminous seaweed gains a good foothold on the arete and the original route , with a miraculously dry pocket in the middle of it being useful. Definitely felt safer to me, especially if you are alone.

βeta: What a find by Mike Robertson! Outrageous and super fun! Get on it late afternoon early/evening much better light than the previous times I've been in the cave. | βeta? |
