Interesting hike full of character (and mud). Quite sketchy at times and steep. Trekking poles useful. Technically on private land so be prepared to turn back (though we had no issues). Fantastic lake in the summit crater - worth a swim.

Trail starts behind the Mountain lodge on the east of the volcano.

The summit is on private land. You may be asked to leave. However a good path leads to he crater.
