βeta: Whilst it is reasonable to access this canyon by driving up to Port d'Ebo and turning onto the dirt track for 4km's of rough driving. It makes more sense and for most will be a much shorter drive if starting from Fleix and there's no off-roading involved. The pools can retain water for a long time (months) after prolonged heavy rain. Assuming the river isn't flowing, most of these should be avoidable by employing some rope-tricks and the occasional by-pass scramble. But sometimes, conceding to a paddle is the way to go.
